When sometimes life is not fair…

Filed under: experience — swling @ 4:01 am

People do say “it is a risk in every pregnancy’. As a mother who had gone through 3 pregnancies, I must admit that I was always worried of the ‘what if.’ Thank God my children are alright.

Very unfortunate, in my family recently, Samantha was born with Inborn Metabolism Error. It is a very difficult illness as there was so many uncertainties.

I visited her last week and was very heart broken. I vividly remembered that she is tired and restless. She is getting tiny each day because she vomitted  a lot. I remembered the time I had hyperemesis. It was a difficult period for me and sometimes I wished I don’t have be pregnant. At least for me, I sleep to get time past. I counted my seconds.

For Samantha, she was crying for help. Comforts that we tried to give her was not enough. She needs something more and I am afraid that is something that  we cannot give.

I pray to God who is the healer for all illness, to give her the best medication. Let her become our witness of miracle. For it is YOU who bring her to this world. Amen!

here is a movie I created intuitively based on my encounter with her. http://swling.metakm.com/journey/swling_godway.wmv

What is the purpose of appeal?

Filed under: experience — swling @ 3:30 pm

This morning, I rushed out from home with samuel and ezek for my traffic court case. Luckly I reached there on time. I hate being in situation where I know nothing about it. The police were not friendly to inform us and also previous police in Putrajaya gave me different impression.

When my name is called, a lady read out my ‘kesalahan’ Puan Majistret asked me if I admit it. Of course I admit it. Police in Putra told me if I didn’t admit, they will do investigation and if really I did wrong, I could be fined more than normal. After I admit, she asked if I have any apeal. As I was telling reason why I commited the ‘unintentional’ crime, she stopped my stories and asked if I admit or not. So, I said admit. Then case close.

I seriously don’t now what she expect to hear when she asked if I want to appeal. Anyway, I was fined RM350 for using handphone during driving. She is not interested for detail. So, i also have to be good girl and pay.

I was questionned at 9.00am but have to wait till around 10.00am because the court counter did not open. The policemen get us to quee up to pay at the counter below. they were so worried that we ran away (how could we when they took our IC)

So, we were brought to a room-which looked so pretty outside but when I entered, it was so stuffy with cigarette smell. Only a table and chairs were around. I saw two people sitting on the floor. They looked sulky. Two policemen were scolding them.

mr. sukri asked us to get someone to pay for us. I was shocked and asked why we could not pay for ourselves? He said it is because we commited crime and we are supposed to be handcruffed and be bailed. we cannot pay for ourselves but another person outside. I was really shocked to hear this. However, after few reasoning (there were 9 of us) he said we will pay for ourselves.

So again, we lined up to go to the counter. Over there, i was very relieved to see bright, clean and fresh air. I m not happy at all these situition because not knowing how is happenig n how v r supposed 2 protect ourselves.

In this country I live, now I wonder if they read my blog, they will jail me for writing n recording my experience. This is part of my journey this year. I am really ’sui’ this year and number 3 is my unlucky number.Today is Wednesday. Plus the tiger year. I have to learn to be obedient and pray more to God.

to whoever reading my experience, never argue with a policeman. Like the Kajang policeman told me, “we are not crazy enough to simply catch people.” Never go to court also, too much time taken up and still paying. To know less is better.

Now, I have to seek information to  learn more about undang-undang memandu kereta.

Urinary Tract Infections summary

Filed under: Melaleuca, family — swling @ 1:13 pm

Guess I find wordpress a place for me to write down this email that i will send to my twin sister. her daugher often has UTI. Hope this will help here.

Danger of UTI

Women got it more than men and usually have 20% occurrences. I had UTI during my pregnancy and often vomitted. Gyne suspected the vomitting could be caused by UTI. Anyway, after baby is delivered, I am back to normal.

UTI are caused by the bacteria called Escherichia coli. this bacteria lives in the colon and infection often spread to thebladder then kidneys. My niece often has fever because the bacteria has infected the kidney. If kidney spoilt, the whole life is difficult. few days have to wash the kidney. During washing also, some patient fainted. Not only that, they have to implant a small machine on their hand to allow the drips/washing.  I saw my friend’s hand who has the machine implanted. it was swallon too.

The Melaleuca wellness guide informs to drink 6-8 cups of water each day to flush the bacteria out from the body. Avoid holding the urine. wear cotton panties/underware, use mild detergent and most importantas an adult, less caffeine and alcohol.

Anyway, the book suggested eating cranberry to “block the infectious bacteria from clinging to the lining of the urinary tract and bladder” p96. They carried out a study on 153 elder women and it showed lesser bacterias with women who took the cranberries. CranBarrier is the name of their product.

So my dear sister, here is my summary to you. Hope you can take care of your daughter. drink more water and no junk food/drink.

Is it God’s doing on her?

Filed under: Melaleuca, Son Samuel — swling @ 8:23 am

When I was pregnant with samuel, I fell in love with this Cd. It was a CD created to collect money to bring up the 7 twins (I think so. ) delivered by Bobbi McCaughey. They make the guinese World Record as 7 living babies.  It has songs that were soothing to my ears and especially, it’s lyrics were so promising to me of God’s word.

Through Lydia, I found out more information about the mother who delivered the 7 babies-all of them were healthy. Of course, two was not doing very well but they are alright. Now, I came across their mother’s testimony that she actually took Melaleuca’s vitamin. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_KhmnT2IEY&feature=related

This little light of mine

Filed under: Sunday School, christianity — swling @ 5:29 pm

This idea popped up again when a mother told me that she wanted to celebrate her daughter’s birthday.

I asked my eldest sister to make few egg cup cake.

I get everyone a cup cake and a candle. Switched off the lights and we sang the song and parade round the room.
I edited the song to name it Let us light up Kajang. Wanted them to share the word of God to Kajang community but I guess they were too young to remember.

After that, I get them to draw a candle so that they have a memory of it in their mind.
